I agree. His best move is to lay low until he has something new. Coming back after all this time to only breathe new air into a six months old incident doesn't make sense. It really doesn't matter what he has to say, those that support him, always will and those that are against him always will be.
I also don't like having him have his mother behind him crying like that.
He needs to invest in an image consultant and possibly a stylist.
I haven't seen the interview. However, I did hear that Chris says he can't remember the incident. Well I experienced something similar with an ex a couple years ago. He cheated on me and gave me an STD. When I confronted him about it, all I remember is him on the ground, me with my fist in the air, and him screaming that if I hit him it would be considered assault. The time between us standing at the window and ending up on the floor could only have been a few seconds. But I don't remember it. Fortunately, I didn't actually hit him, but the fact that I couldn't remember the situation haunted me for a long time afterwards....and it still does.
Strong, I have a hard time believing any jury would convict you.
Chelle - I wonder if an image consultant and stylist are the reason he showed up on TV in that ridiculous looking bowtie and sweater with dirt on his lip. If he wasn't prepared to own up to it without qualification, he should have just stayed away.
