Goodness, how do you sleep with all these sirens? I’m staying in what appears to be a pretty fancy schmancy neighborhood, but it sounds like Sandman Sam’s outside going door to door.
It's like having an bucket of ammonia in the room...you walk in and say, "DAMN!" but an hour later you wonder why that guy who just walked in is saying "DAMN!"
P6... A bucket of amonia? Really? Hmmm, I think we both know what you're talking about, and I've been there too! (Haha)
(if you don't know what I'm talkin' about, never mind, it's too gross.)
There's a reason they call it the city the never sleeps.
If I'm being totally honest, I'm not a big fan of New York, especially Manhattan. Partly, because I feel way too over stimulated.
It took me about six weeks to get accustomed to the trains running half a block away from my walkup. The ground shakes and you can feel it four flights up. Coming from California, it feels like the tiny shaking just before the earthquake hits, and that got my nerves all jangly for weeks.
